First barge for Harmonious arrives in Epcot’s World Showcase Lagoon

Updated:

The first barge for Epcot’s new nighttime show Harmonious has arrived in World Showcase Lagoon. The enormous showpiece was moved into position overnight and will be permanently installed in the middle of the lagoon.

Disney Imagineer Zach Riddley documented the barge being moved into position. Click on the post to see additional photos.

The barges will bring Harmonious alive through video screens, fountains, lights and fireworks. During the day, the barges will serve as fountains and add some new kinetic energy to the lagoon.

Now that the first barge is in place, we can confirm that they will dramatically alter the views around World Showcase. Simply, they’ll be impossible to miss. Hopefully the fountain elements during the day help smooth over these enormous additions.
