Epcot’s new Space restaurant will open in 2019

An official opening window has been announced for the new Space restaurant that will live in Future World at Epcot. Disney has announced that the out-of-this-world dining location will open in 2019, but a specific opening date hasn’t been announced at this time.

The Space restaurant, which also doesn’t have an official name as of the date of this article, will be operated by a third-party company. The Patina Restaurant Group, who operate several restaurants in Disney Springs as well as the two Italian restaurants at Epcot, have designed a menu that reportedly features food and drinks from all over the world. It sounds like they’re going with an International Space Station vibe.

Guests visiting the Space restaurant will be “transported” into space and will enjoy dining with unbelievable views. It remains to be seen how Disney will pull off this effect and whether or not the location’s close proximity to Test Track will be noticeable to guests.

Look for an official opening date in the near future.
