Epcot’s Candelight Processional will return for the 2021 holiday season

Updated:

The Candelight Processional will ring in the holidays at Epcot in 2021! The staple holiday celebration at Walt Disney World will be back this year beginning November 26, 2021. The extremely popular event will run through December 30, 2021.

As in previous years, the Candelight Processional will retell the story of Christmas with a celebrity narrator, live orchestra and cast choir. Disney’s announcement mentioned that community and school choirs will not be present in 2021 due to vaccination requirements.

Since all these performers โ€“ including cast members, musicians, singers, and narrators โ€“ will be required to be fully vaccinated, this year we are not planning to host choirs from different community groups and schools. Instead, to maintain the grandeur of the performance, we are expanding our cast member choir to fill the stage with voices. Weโ€™re optimistic that the guest choirs will be able to rejoin us next year for this special holiday opportunity.

Dining packages for the Candelight Processional will be announced in the near future.

We love the Candelight Processional and feel it’s a key part of the holidays at Walt Disney World. We’re thrilled to see it return in 2021 and hope the show will be back to normal come 2022.
