It’s once again time to check in on the construction of Epcot’s Journey of Water attraction. We last discussed the area in September 2021 when the Journey of Water, Inspired by Moana was a massive construction site.
Well, the area of the old Innoventions West is still a giant construction site. Excavations are taking place on the site, which offers a good look at the newly-added steel beams.

Concrete forms have also been placed in the area.

It takes a serious amount of imagination to look at the construction site and see Journey of Water in its completed form. Do you recognize any elements Disney previewed in the concept art?
Once opened, Journey of Water will be home to interactive fountains, water features and lush landscaping. The walkthrough attraction will serve as a buffer between the Land and Seas Pavilions and the central spine of Epcot.
An opening date for Journey of Water has not been announced at this time.
