The nighttime show World of Color – ONE will close for refurbishment at Disney California Adventure in early 2024. The show is scheduled to close January 8, 2024 and remain closed through February 29, 2024. Barring any delays or changes, World of Color – ONE will return March 1, 2024.
No details were provided about the closure. It’s also not clear if Disney will make any changes to the show while it’s closed.

The lengthy refurbishment for World of Color – ONE comes after the holiday season. It’s scheduled during what’s normally the slower winter months before attendance picks up in spring. But, guests visiting during this period will be disappointed to see Disney California Adventure lacking its visually stunning nighttime show.
World of Color – ONE debuted in January 2023 and was met with mixed reviews. There’s no question that any World of Color show is a winner, but some guests felt the World of Color – ONE version of the show wasn’t as good as previous iterations. We still think the show is worth seeing and is an extremely impressive combination of fountains, lights, lasers, projections, and more.
